Brewster's Road Crew

We are finally officially stating that we have taken on the social media management for Brewster's Road Crew. Brewster's Road Crew  promote the most popular Crop Over party series over the past 3 years. Every Friday night during the Crop Over festivities in Barbados during the months of June- August, Brewster's Road Crew events attract soca lovers from around the world. Its a real party and it does not stop until long after the sun has risen on Saturday morning!!!  Last year 2009, they conquered new ground by becoming the first people to produce a 24 hour soca fete. Its an event they have simply labeled "24".

We have been building out the Brewster's Road Crew social media presence primarily on twitter and facebook presence since their Pre (Trinidad) Carnival fete earlier this year. We have been allowing for Brewster's Road Crew supporters from around the world to stay in touch and keep up with the latest and greatest Brewster's Road happenings. As the Crop Over 2010 Our core aim is really to give the Brewster's Road Crew and outlet to their fans and to make there 24 hour soca fete well-known worldwide. We have been able to connect with groups from as far as Toronto and the UK with the social media platform we have built for them so far.

How Our Social Media Marketing For SciTech Expo Ended Up On Display

We were pleased to work with E -Vision Concepts to provide social media marketing and a web presence on yet another project. This time it was the bi-annual Sci Tech Exhibition, which is produced by The National Council for Science and Technology (Government Agency in Barbados).

The role of Sci-TechExpo is multifaceted, in that as well as providing a forum where students can demonstrate their innovation and creativity it also serves to demonstrate the linkages between basic and applied Science and Technology and the role they play in development. It also provides Science professionals with an opportunity to display the results of their research efforts and to demonstrate the impact these results may have on our National development.

It was a real pleasure to work on this project and to experience the raw passion and innovation of young Barbadian students. It spurred us to mount our own booth during the Expo to showcase how technology is also impacting out business and the innovative ways in we have been putting it to good work. The live blogging and posting of the video and photo from the conferences was very much appreciated by the exhibitors.

It was truly and interesting experience and it is possible that we might take some initiative to support the the raw passion and innovation at this Expo. We are definitely motivated to put our expertise in social media to good use.

We are pleased to announce that we will be partnering with dAssociate 360 Artists to promote the musical catalogue of iNDRANi through news media, merchandise, distribution networks and mobile channels to create a branded experience for fans….

Drenalin Productions, 360 Artists and iNDRANi have already began working together to put things in place to realize this vision. "The first step is for us to capture iNDRANi's current social media frame work, understand her current fan base and then design a way forward for iNDRANi's very special brand of music." said Drenalin director Corey Graham 2.0.  "She is already a legend for her extensive work as a background vocalist and my hope is that we can use our skills in social media to assist her in the transformation to becoming a "foreground" artiste. We like to dream big so we are all hoping that we can inspire a new era in the Caribbean Music Industry by encouraging more of the independent Caribbean artistes to take a serious approach to leveraging the power of the internet to build successful careers. If this vision is realized it can contribute in a tangible way to the economies of our Caribbean States."

Simone Harris, director of 360 Artists shared these sentiments "This partnership seems to have been destined to happen …. it's been in the pipeline for a while now…Corey Graham 2.0 (Drenalin Productions) and I both share very similiar perspectives on new music and technology and together we will work to develop strategies that will allow Caribbean artists to exploit the numerous opportunities presented by new media technology."

The lady of the moment iNDRANi said, "One of the most recent developments / highlights in my career, is the official alliance with the innovative marketing and media team, Drenalin Productions and 360 Artists. The diverse team shares the same vision, specializing in online marketing and media. They are extremely proactive; with a heavy focus on effective communication systems, and following-through on assignments and tasks designated. The team has taken the time to understand me as an artiste, individual, and brand, and is in the process of creating a cohesive plan to move forward."

The first project will be to enhance iNDRANi's current initiative to help the people of Haiti. She is donating all the proceeds from the online download of her track "We're One" to the cause. More to come on that.

Corey Graham 2.0 Bio Just Released!

My deepest passion is to assist in building up the Caribbean Community and I plan to do this by making use of my skills in marketing, social media and business. Professionally, I have worked with Alt Entertainment Inc. and BoomTribe assisting them in their quest to develop a Caribbean Music Industry by producing compelling Caribbean entertainment content for TV, Radio and the web. I have held the positions of Digital Content Manager, Community Manager and Content Marketing Manager over the 3 years I have spend with them. Essentially, I was responsible for getting all of Alt Entertainment's produced content, onto its online platform, BoomTribe.com, share it with the BoomTribe community and market it to the rest of the world. Over my time at BoomTribe I filled roles of marketer, photographer, writer, video editor, video producer, video & TV host and more when need arose. I was pivotal in developing the new BoomTribe.com which was launched in Jun 2009, and was greeted with open arms by the public. It was designed to make it easy for Alt Entertainment to share its content and also highlight all of BoomTribe's brands and products.

As a blogger & writer I write 3 blogs and I produce a podcast –  Biz Blog, Entertainment Blog , Sayings Blog and the Corey Graham 2.0 Podcast which you can all find at www.CoreyKGraham.Me. My Biz Blog which is my flagship blog has been read by some of the influential persons in the Caribbean and on my podcast I have featured the interviews with influential persons including the Peter Gould, VP of Sales at RIM, Phil Philips and more. I also contribute to a few blogs including Nurse Karen's Soca Blog, Silicon Caribe, The Bloom Effect and more. My exploits as a blogger and writer covers primarily Business and Entertainment and span topics like Innovation, Leadership, Productivity, Social Media, Technology, Music Business and Music news. My primary driving force for being a writer is to provoke thinking among Caribbean people and share important "niche market" news with them.

I also getting started providing formal online marketing and Web 2.0 consulting services to Caribbean businesses and professionals.

There are a few personal initiatives I have going which are BajanBasketball.com, Checker Hall Braves Basketball Team Website , CaribbeanEntertainmentSearch.com, Caribbean Entertainment Professional Network On LinkedIn, The Soca Now Movement and more. My motives for these projects in particular come out of my belief that entertainment and sports are very important elements in developing the Caribbean Community. I also readily assist new Caribbean bloggers in getting their blogs up and running.

I might appear to have several talents and skills, however if you dig a little deeper you will realize its my creativity that allows me to do alot of what I do. Inspired ideas come to me quite often. Those around me expect me to call them, out the blue, to get their feedback on some new idea I have. My ability to make relationships between seemingly unrelated topics produces these ideas that might solve a problem, reveal a new opportunity or share a new perspective. On those dark and gloomy days, I put my creative gifts to good use in searching for that new perspective which makes the day seem brighter, or I find ways to create win-win situations for the people involved in the situation. I try to always remain positive and motivate those around me.  This creativity has been one of those things that has been a constant in life and I always bring it to the table. I enjoy teamwork and developing on ideas with others to make them even better ideas. It is a sheer thrill to work on a project with other passionate and creative people. As the team leader or a team member I am able to totally enjoy the team experience.

I have accepted that I am a thinker. I enjoy thinking about just about anything. My curiosity and quest to understand and experience the world around me makes me a huge fan of science & technology and gives me that child-like enthusiasm to truly enjoy life.
