Corey Graham 2.0 Bio

Schooling and Innovative Spirit

Corey Graham 2.0 attended Queen’s College Secondary School in Barbados and later attended the University of the West Indies’ St. Augustine Campus in Trinidad where he studied Mechanical Engineering. While at university his passion for creating really flourished. It was manifested most significantly in the launch of his own business Drenalin Productions with the ambitious aim to commercialize student projects. This experience delivered a firsthand understanding of the challenges of being an entrepreneur. It also opened up opportunities on the Trinidad entertainment scene.

The World of Entertainment & People

The world of entertainment quickly uncovered his love for people and quickly showcased his natural ability for marketing and getting people excited about a particular product or event. His proactive nature moved him quickly on to the marketing and promotional committees of two of Trinidad’s top nightclubs and many other major events. During this time, he also worked with some associates to develop a website DrenalinProductions.com which was one of the first entertainment websites in the Caribbean.

Working With a Start Up Company

On returning to Barbados, he co-founded “Nocturnal” a youth networking group, with the vision of bringing motivated and industrious young persons together to help each other accomplish their dreams. Nocturnal led to the next significant move in his life. It connected him with one of the directors of the young start-up Alt Entertainment Inc., owners of the trendy Caribbean youth entertainment brand, BoomTribe. Corey worked with BoomTribe in the development of their mobile content business and website, BoomTribe.com. He later became their first full time employee and worked with them for three years to develop their website. During his time there, he filled the roles of marketer, web content manager, team leader, photographer, web video editor, TV host and more.

Discovering World of Social Media

During the time at BoomTribe.com, Corey discovered the world of social media as it was just evolving and being completely fascinated by it, he jumped right in. He later branded himself Corey Graham 2.0 and has become a thought leader on social media in the Caribbean.

Becoming a Full Time Entrepreneur

In November 2009 Corey went full time into developing Drenalin Productions into a social media company. He is now leveraging the skills and lessons learnt over the years to grow Drenalin Productions into a premium provider of social media services and other web related services.

Co-Founding GramStep

In September 2010, he co-founded GramStep with Jeremy Stephen. GramStep is a youth business networking community aimed at becoming the “agent of the entrepreneur”. GramStep plans to develop the eco-system and support systems around young entrepreneurs in Barbados and the wider Caribbean.
 
Working to Make Barbados the # 1 Entrepreneurial Hub By 2020

Currently Corey is also volunteering with the Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation to realize the vision of making Barbados into the #1 Entrepreneurial hub in the world by 2020.

Innovative Spirit

Over the years persons coming into contact with Corey Graham 2.0 always take note of his creative approach to projects or facing a particular challenge. His willingness to pursue and actualize an idea started from a very early age and has continued throughout his life. Today, as an entrepreneur he is driven by his truly pioneering and innovative spirit. He makes use of his skills in leadership, marketing, operations, technology, the internet and social media to drive the various projects he is a part of.
